  2. I am currently working with fabric from Fig Tree to make a butterfly quilt for my mother in law.

  3. Putting the binding on a quilt…got the top at an estate sale for $5 and had a “free quilting” coupon from a local quilt store. All I had to buy was batting and backing. Fabrics date to the late 1800s!

  4. I asked my 5yo niece which owl fabric she would like for a dress and she said she would love a blanket instead – of course aunt Bobbie had to oblige and make a quilt

  47. Hi Julie! Thanks for the awesome giveaway! I am trying to finish as many UFO’s as possible before school starts (I’m a teacher). So after I finish the mundane stuff (patching all the clothes my family hands me) I am going to finish a Weekender bag for my daughter, machine quilt a finished disappearing nine-patch (for another daughter), and begin hand-quilting one of my great-grandmother’s hexie tops. (The operative word there is “begin.” I’ve never hand-quilted a bed–sized quilt, but this quilt deserves it). Thanks again for the chance to win this gorgeous package of goodies, and thanks for your inspiring blog!

  50. I just completed a “Boo” bench pillow for my daughter. I did a lot of stitching on it, and it came out really pretty! There are 4 other “seasonal” pillows for her bench that I will be making for her. Can’t wait for the fall holidays to roll in……
