It’s been a hodge podge of sewing projects lately. Someone in Instagram (who are you?) was posting little baby booties and I had to make a pair.
Fabrics are from the Heather Ross Briar Rose collection. The interior is white flannel and the soles are flax cotton linen.
I have a new niece coming in a few months so I’ll put these aside for her.
The pattern is for reversible booties and it’s FREE! You can download it here.
Curved piecing has always scared me so I decided I needed to practice. After watching a tutorial from She Can Quilt, I gave it a go.
The squares are 3″ and after finishing the block I made a couple more and turned it into a pillow cover.
What are you working on?

Awww! Those booties are just so sweet! Glad to see you have overcome your fears and given the curved piecing a go, Julie. I love it! Your cushion turned out fantastic! So now what do you think? Are there more curves in your future?

Love the booties! That line is just so perfect for little girls….well, I might wear a pair of those if someone made ’em:) I have a project I am trying to get to with curved seams. I even bought one of the Curve Master feet for my machine to give a try.

I downloaded the bootie pattern and plan to give them a try – they are so cute! The pattern looks challenging though. That curve sewing tutorial will be useful! Thank you for posting these.

I think What the Bobbin posted some cute booties.
Love the strawberries! And that green is so pretty on those polka dots.

Booties are so adorable! Looks like you don’t need much practice on your curves – they look great from here 😀

Super cute booties! And great work on the curves, I am still afraid and keep telling myself that I’ll try after the next WIP is done![:)](http://627handworks.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/simple-smile.png)
