Triangle Quilt Along

by Julie Hirt

Head on over to The Sassy Quilter.  Today is the last day to link up your fabric choices for a chance to win a prize!  I love prizes.

I’ve had these fabrics sitting in a pile since late last summer. They were originally destined to be made into a herringbone / scrappy style chevron quilt.  I’m kind of over that.

The fabric requirements are posted here.   I’m 2 fabrics short, but since these are half yard cuts I’ll be okay.  I could always add more… I may even go bigger!

I don’t have a fancy triangle ruler, but I have a quilting ruler with 60 degree angle markings. That’s all you really need!

I’m pretty excited to make this. Here is the only other equilateral triangle quilt I’ve made:

Hope you join in the Quilt Along, I love triangle quilts and seeing all the different fabrics will be really fun.

Isn’t she cute?  It’s a vintage thread holder I scored from @516vintage on Instagram.

Hey… I posted two days in a row!
